New Life Ministries

One of the core values of New Life Church is for all members to be involved in ministry. Below is a list of ministry opportunities for imparting your God given passion and impacting your God given purpose to have Maximum Impact on those we serve in and through this ministry.
 

Life Groups

A LifeGroup is a small group of 6-12 believers who meet in each other’s homes for fellowship, Bible discussion, and prayer in an effort to grow closer to God and closer to one another. In a fun and comfortable environment, LifeGroups serve as a way to cultivate spiritual growth. Simply, LifeGroups help new and seasoned believers fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. More

Kidz Citi

Kidz Citi main purpose is to teach children how to have an intimate relationship with Christ. Our vision is to see all of God's children come to the knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Transfusion Student Ministry

The Youth Ministry provides our youth with the tools and experiences that will allow them to discover the transformative power of Jesus’ love as the center of their lives and to share that love with others, especially their peers. This is accomplished primarily by helping children through the creation of a loving, caring community, at the church, focus on the life, teaching and ministry of Jesus Christ.

Catalyst

Catalyst is a ministry designed specifically for the fellowship young adults (ages 18-35) for the purpose of guiding them through various life transitions with higher spiritual levels of confidence, strength and maturity in Christ Jesus.

International Missions Ministry

The International Missions Ministry aims to evangelize and to edify the lost and the least throughout the world through global missions work as short term missionaries.

Women of New Life (WONL)

The Women of New Life Fellowship ministry serves to develop and coordinate events and activities exclusively for the women members of New Life Church. More

Biblical Lay Counseling Ministry

The Biblical Lay Counseling ministry strives to guide members to seek the wise counsel of the Holy Spirit and the support of other trained Christians.

Comforters Ministry

The Comforters ministry provides the personal touch and intimate support for New Life members going through the bereavement experience.

Evangelism Outreach Ministry

The Evangelism Outreach ministry strives to evangelize the lost in our immediate community through effective witnessing efforts and witnessing campaigns on a regular basis.

Food Service Ministry

The Food Service Ministry serves to provide for culinary and dining needs of the Church and its activities and events as it relates but is not limited to conferences, retreats, meetings, ministry related and church wide events and activities.

FOCAS Ministry (Unmarried)

The FOCAS Ministry is designed to provide solid teaching, challenging discussions, and interactive fellowships among unmarried single adults (persons age 21 and older).

Food & Clothing Ministry

The Food & Clothing ministry seeks to encourage its clientele by providing immediate resources of food and clothing to those in need.

His Love Extended Outreach Ministry

The His Love Extended Outreach ministry attempts to provide assistance to the immediate need of those persons who find themselves homeless and residing in one of metro Atlanta's homeless shelters.

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality ministry ensures that every member and visitor who enters the doors of New Life Church for worship will be warmly greeted and welcomed by a member of New Life.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

The Intercessory Prayer ministry actively and aggressively engages God through corporate and private prayer on behalf (intercessions) of others, especially the Pastor, the Leadership, and the Members of New Life Church.

Jewels Ministry

The Jewels Fellowship group serves to provide regular events and activities that encourage and promote the social interactions of persons age 55 years & older.

Kidz Citi Toddler Town

The Kidz Citi Toddler Town ministry seeks to meet the spiritual and physical needs of our children ages 0 to 3 years old (may vary depending on child’s maturity) and the parents and guardians of said children. Its primary aim is to facilitate while at church the safety needs and care demands required of children who are generally completely dependent upon an adult for their care and supervision.

Liturgical Dance Ministry

The Liturgical Dance ministry seeks to contribute to the reverent and celebrative atmosphere of worship and other experiences in the Church with both jubilant and contemplative dances.

Manna From Heaven Ministry

Manna from Heaven ministry is a ministry which exists to produce, promote and market the teaching and preaching of Pastor Marlin D. Harris, in all of its multi-media formats.

Married Couples Ministry

The Married Couples ministry seeks to instruct and encourage husbands and wives as a married couple to build biblically sound marriages and a strong Christian relationship within their marital union to God.

Matron Ministry

The Matron Ministry is designed for mature Christian women of faith who by their devotion to Christ and Christian service, their personal experience and wisdom, their behavior and character exemplify positive role models of womanhood for everyone in the Church and community especially for our younger women and our children.

Music Ministry

The Music ministry provides the music for corporate worship experiences at New Life Church routinely on Sunday's and whenever the need for music arises.

Men's Ministry

The Men's ministry seeks to provide meaningful opportunities for the fellowship and encouragement of adult male Christians by other adult male Christians.

Multi-Media Ministry

The Multi-Media ministry provides the technical support, maintenance of equipment and overall supervision of trained media personnel to meet the church’s visual and audio production needs.

New Members Discipleship Ministry Group

The ministries in this group (NMDG) are unique in that each ministry has the mutual care and concern for one specific class of members; the new members of New Life Church. The ministry group includes: 1) Potential Member Shepherds, 2) New Member Orientation, 3) New Member Shepherds Connect, 4) New Convert, 5) Baptismal, and 6) Visitor Shepherds

Overcomers Ministry

The Overcomers ministry seeks to equip, encourage and support persons who are lost and struggling with an addictive lifestyle they seek to overcome. This is done through an intensive and personal 7 step program leading to a “New Life” in Jesus Christ.

Parking & Safety Ministry

The Parking & Safety ministry has as its aim to provide for the safe and efficient entrance/exit of individuals and their vehicles from the grounds (i.e. parking lots) of New Life Church and New Life Community Center.

Security Ministry

The Security ministry seeks to provide for the safety and security of all persons visiting, worshipping and serving on the grounds and in the buildings of New Life Church and New Life Community Center.

Seekers Service Ministry

Seeker Service on Sundays embraces the Church's vision to provide an informal non-traditional, "come as you are", worship experience focusing on the needs and unique experiences of those who are in search of God outside of the norm.

Sick Visitation Ministry

The Sick Visitation ministry responds in an efficient and timely manner to a member's need for support and assistance during a sickness or illness of their own.

Student Education Support Ministry

The Student Education Support ministry seeks to sponsor and coordinate events and activities to inspire and prepare students of all ages to achieve academic excellence and their fullest potential in their academic pursuits beyond high school in tandem as they grow and develop in their personal relationship with Christ.

Transportation Ministry

The Transportation ministry provides professionally trained drivers to operate the church's fleet of vehicles (buses and vans) needed to transport members and visitors alike to and from their homes or places of shelter to and from our services to experience the Word of God.

Ushers Ministry

The Ushers ministry seeks to guide and to assist both members and visitors who enter and exit the house of God to do so safely.
