Marinese’s Story

At a time in my life when I was tired of the old life, old habits, old sermons, old church and old attitudes - I found New Life. New Life had been in existence for just over a year when I first stepped into the doors. The first sermon captured me, the gentleness of the members warmed me and the Spirit filled me. Having relocated from the San Francisco Bay area and having been a part of a dynamic church where the uncompromised Word of God was preached I felt like I had finally found my new home in Georgia.

I’ve been a member for more than seven years and can truly say that my life is more complete. I am taught the Word in an authentic and simplistic way. I have more confidence now in standing on the Word because of the messages that come forth from the Senior Pastor and those he has trained to follow him. The level of confidence I’ve received has caused me to change the way I walk, the way I talk and the way I treat others. This confidence comes also from knowing that God loves me no matter what.

My relationship with Him is so pure and so serene that whether I prosper, or whether I fall, I know that I am still His child. You might say that I have a “New Attitude”. If you hear the Word, learn and grow from the Word and allow God to transform you, then you too will get a joy inside that the world truly cannot take away. I am so blessed, and it is my daily challenge to be a blessing to someone else... ...Now, that’s New Life.
