Welcome to one of the most important aspects of your walk with God – discipleship and spiritual development. Here at New Life, we believe that Discipleship happens best in the context of “community". Life Groups and Life Classes are the way New Life comes together to help make each one of us better. Better at Life. Better at Home. Better at Work. Better at Following Christ. This journey is our journey. Let’s walk it together.

However, the good news is that we have a Champion who has given us a proven battle plan that has defeated our enemy countless numbers of times before, and when applied correctly to any area of our life, it will defeat him countless many more. This Champion is Jesus Christ, and His battle plan is called the Armor of God. In this class, we will explore how to wear the armor, and how to use the weapons it provides. Divine Detours

Facilitator: Dr. Linda Bing
Description: When God wants to take us someplace, the path is not typically in a straight line. There are twists and turns and the unexpected. There is usually a "detour"; an unplanned shift in the route we were planning to take. Yet, what we often do is try to work our own way through the circumstances we believe are best for us. Using examples from the life of Joseph, we will discuss how God took him through detours and how those detours relate to you and me. We will explore the purpose of detours and how God uses them for our own good regardless of how they make us feel or how we feel about them. They are necessary steps to get us to the appointed end that He wants for us.
