Guest Services Ministry
Guest Services seeks to ensure that every member and visitor of New Life Church encounters the warmth, comfort, and love of the Holy Spirit, ministered through each volunteer. This ministry is comprised of the Greeting Team, Parking Team, Ushers and the Coffee Team. Each ministry volunteer in the Guest Services Ministry seeks to share the love of Christ Jesus by demonstrating care and concern in each interaction.
Social Media
The Social Media Ministry tells the story of God working in and through New Life on digital platforms that encourage sharing and connection. We capture events and moments in photos, video, and short stories so that we can share across the church and wider community. We share's God's grace where people are already searching, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Hearing Impaired Ministry
The Hearing Impaired Ministry seeks to serve individuals with hearing impairments attending services at New Life Church. This ministry serves the hearing-impaired by offering sign language and/or closed-captioned sermons that facilitate active participation in the worship experience.
Transportation Ministry
The Transportation Ministry provides professionally-trained drivers to operate church-owned vehicles (buses and vans) for transporting members and visitors to/from their homes or places of shelter to experience the Word of God at New Life Worship Services.
Discover New Life (DNL) Ministries
The Discover New Life Ministry's mission is to provide an organized and purpose driven approach to the orientation, education, and acclimation of those who have recently decided to join in official membership with New Life Church. This ministry is comprised of 4 Teams: Decision Team , Baptism Team, Teaching Team, and the Connect(Welcome)Team.
Baby Village
Baby Village Nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for your most precious God-given gifts; your babies, aged 6 months to 2 years old. Baby Village Nursery exists to allow parents the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of embracing the full Worship Experience, while being assured that their infants are in a safe and loving environment.
Toddler Town
Toddler Town is a “wonderland” and fun-filled environment that exists to minister to New Life toddlers and preschoolers between the ages of 2 to 4 years old. The classrooms and space that houses the Toddler Town Ministry has been created to attract the child’s imagination and draw them into the learning experience about God. This Ministry teaches children that God loves them, and always desires to be their closest friend.
Kidz Citi
Kidz Citi is a high-energy, fun and engaging environment that focuses on presenting the powerful truths of the Bible to children between the ages of 5 – 12 years old, in a creative, interactive, and exciting way. Kidz Citi exists to fulfill the Biblical instruction to teach our children about God and His love for us through Jesus Christ.
AMPED
Amped is an engaging, interactive environment where Middle Schoolers (6th – 8th Grade) are presented with the truth of the Bible and how to apply what they learn to their lives. The goal of Amped is to help our students find their identity in Christ while allowing God’s light to illuminate in and through them.
Pulse
The New Life Teen Ministry (PULSE) is an inviting and energy-filled environment for High Schoolers (9th – 12th Grade) to grow in their knowledge of Christ, while worshiping God and building Godly character that will develop and shape their lives and futures. High School is a defining moment for all students, and our PULSE Ministry exists to mark this season of a student’s life for Jesus Christ, and to make their faith a bedrock principle that will follow them for the rest of their lives.
Student Education Support
The purpose of the Student Education Support Ministry is to encourage high school and middle school students to pursue their interests and professional desires for an education beyond their high school graduation. This Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for students to prepare, study, and practice for qualifying graduate exams or college entrance testing by providing SAT Prep Training or other similar workshops.
Parenting Ministry
The Parenting Ministry’s exists to equip and empower parents to be the primary faith trainers for their families, while growing together in ministry, sharing life experiences and wisdom, and building a firm foundation in Jesus Christ for their children. This ministry cultivates the spiritual growth of the next generation by encouraging parents to disciple their children to impact and change the world.
Mens Ministry
The Men’s Ministry vision is to train, equip and disciple men to serve as Spiritual leaders in their Families, Church and Community. Their mission is to provide an environment where men can be open and transparent, where men can gain healing and understanding through the Word of God and brotherly fellowship, and where men will grow together with other men to become better Leaders, Husbands, Fathers and Servants of God.
Manna From Heaven
Manna From Heaven provides spiritual food for those who seek reminders of the goodness and joy we find in God's Spoken Word throughout the week. Manna From Heaven desires to strengthen the body of Christ through the catalogue of sermons from Pastor Marlin Harris and New Life's Associate Ministers. Members and visitors may purchase CD recordings of each catalogued message dating back over 20 years of ministry.
We Care(Comforters)Ministry
The We Care (Comforters) Ministry provides personal care and support for New Life members who are experiencing sickness and to members who are mourning the loss of a loved one. This Ministry is comprised of the Sick Visitation and Bereavement Teams. Sick Visitation Teams are primarily concerned with visiting hospitals, nursing and private homes, hospices, and other home care facilities where immobilized members may be receiving care. The Bereavement Team provides ministry services to individuals and families who have experienced the loss of a loved one.
Biblical Lay Counseling
This ministry strives to render wise, biblically-sound counsel to New Life members in need of spiritual guidance and encouragement regarding struggles in their daily lives. Counselors are trained to provide support, direction, and advice by effectively utilizing their spiritual gifts to edify the Body of Christ as mandated in the Word of God.
DNL Teaching Ministry
The DNL Teaching Team is comprised of teachers and ministers who seek to provide basic/foundational teachings on the ministry, history, beliefs, and core values of New Life Church.
DNL Connect Team
The DNL Connect Team seeks to welcome new members to New Life Church and "connect" them with the ministries available at New Life Church that also correspond to their unique spiritual gifts, talents, and interests.
Single's Ministry
The Single's Ministry at New Life Church seeks to empower Christian singles to live a life pleasing to Christ Jesus. We welcome widows and widowers, those who are divorced, single parents, members, nonmembers and guests to this amazing ministry. There are four pillars of our Singles Ministry- Displeship& Bible Teaching, Career & Education Development, Outreach & Evangelism and Fellowship. Through these four pillars, the Singles ministry is focused on ensuring that Christian singles are fully equipped in Christian discipleship and Godly living.
Grandparents Ministry
The Grandparents Ministry’s mission is to help grandparents and grandparent-figures to disciple a new generation of young believers that encourages them to live Christ-centered lives. This ministry equips grandparents, parents, and primary caretakers of children with the necessary tools to have a greater spiritual impact on their families and strengthen them with a strong foundation in Christ while creating a safe haven for growth and transparency.
Pastoral Care Ministries
The Pastoral Care Ministries is a group of ministries that seeks to provide comfort and encouragement to all those in New Life church members in need, to help ensure the spiritual and emotional wellness of every member. The Pastoral Care Ministry is comprised of the following ministries: We Care (Comforters) Ministry, Biblical Lay Counseling Ministry, Pastoral Care Ministry and the Hope Cancer Ministry.
Virtual Online Community(VOC)Ministry
We invite everyone who watches the New Life Church worship services broadcast worldwide no matter where on earth they call home to connect with us. This includes:
• All in the Atlanta Metro (50-mile radius of the church).
• Anyone who resides in the continental USA.
• Those who reside in any other country in the world.
By joining this ministries, you will be able to participate in meetings, classes and fellow events virtually.
Hope Cancer Ministry
Hope Cancer Ministries (HCM) is a faith-based ministry, which interacts with individuals, churches, and other organizations to offer spiritual and emotional support along with practical Christ-centered ministry to cancer patients, caregivers and those who are grieving. Hope Cancer Ministry’s mission is to show the love of Jesus Christ by serving those families affected by the devastating diagnosis of cancer.
Veterans Ministry
The Veterans Ministry’s mission is to create a safe space for Veterans and their families to meet, fellowship, share information, develop friendships, and receive spiritual and practical support. The role of this ministry is to make sure Armed Service members and Veterans, their families, and the community around them have the information and access to the benefits and support available to them for the service they have given to our nation.
Bowling Ministry
The Bowling Ministry’s mission is to promote the sport of bowling while exemplifying the character of Jesus Christ. We provide an opportunity for fun and Christian fellowship through league bowling. Lifelong friendships have been formed through a fun and interactive spirit of competition and team-building.
Agape Youth and Adult Sports Ministry
The Agape Ministry’s mission is to ensure that Jesus Christ is honored through recreational and team sports. Sports and recreation offer us an incredible opportunity to reach out into the community around us and be ambassadors for Christ to young people and adults in our immediate environment. The Agape Ministry provides a Christ-centered experience that emphasizes Christian character development along with traditional sportsmanship, teamwork, and overall fitness and skill development with each sports program offered.
Women's Ministry
The Women’s Ministry of New Life is a community of women who gather to connect, mentor, and fellowship in a safe and supportive environment. Through this Ministry, women honor God and are encouraged in their relationship with Him. In addition, women uplift one another in navigating real-life experiences through Christian values.
Communion Prep Ministry
The Communion Prep Ministry mission is to oversee the overall preparation of the ceremonial Lord’s Supper, bringing the sacraments of the Body and Blood of Christ to the People of God. The Communion Prep Ministry is a ministry of witnessing to faith in the presence of Christ through the action of sharing the symbolic communion meal of Jesus Christ's sacrifice.
Infuse (Young Adult) Ministry
The Infuse Ministry seeks to connect young adult believers with one another, developing them in the Gospel, activating their gifts for use in the body of Christ, and mobilizing them for kingdom service locally and abroad.
NexGen Ministries
NexGen Ministries is ONE ministry that is designed to reach, disciple and spiritually develop youth from infants to High School students, ages 0-18 years. The passion and purpose of NextGen Ministries is to: (1) Develop youth of every age in their relationship with Christ, (2) Provide a worship experience that honors God our Father, and (3) Give students the freedom to serve the community and each other. Our NexGen Ministry is comprised of the following ministries: Baby Village(6mon-2 yrs old), Toddler Town (2yrs - 4yrs old), Kidz Citi (5yrs - 10yrs old), Amped (Middle School), Pulse (High School)
Married Couples Ministry
The Married Couples Ministry's mission is to strengthen marriages between a man and a woman, who are looking to grow spiritually in their relationship with Christ, as well as in their relationship with each other through corporate prayer, fellowship, and discipleship resources that encourage, educate, and sustain marriages. This ministry is a safe and supportive environment that is focused on helping couples as they walk in the purpose of marriage, which is to honor God and reflect His unconditional love within the covenent of marriage.
Pastoral Sick Visitation Ministry
The Pastoral Sick-Visitation Ministry’s mission is to visit with, and provide the ‘ministry of presence’ and support to those within the life of our church family who may be ill, hospitalized or confined to their homes. This ministry desires to extend the pastoral heart of Jesus Christ throughout our entire family of New Life Church. Members of this ministry provide visitation and prayer with the those in our congregation who live in healthcare facilities, or who are otherwise unable to attend worship services. Pastoral Visitation Ministry members serve as commissioned extensions of the Pastors, Elders and Shepherds of our local church, bringing presence and prayer to the homebound.
LifeGroups Ministry
The LifeGroups Ministry is comprised of various small groups of six to ten believers who meet outside the 4 walls of the church, whether that is in-person or virtually for fellowship, bible discussions, and prayer. LifeGroups serve as a way to cultivate spiritual growth by helping new and seasoned believers fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
Life Classes Ministries
Life Classes Ministries is the Biblical teaching arm of New Life Church. Each Life Class is designed to explore what the Bible teaches about life topics, issues and daily concerns related to family, spiritual growth, and living the Christian life successfully. Our Life Classes provides a safe and informative place to ask questions, discover God’s purposes for life, and grow as a follower of Jesus Christ.
